Improving the lives of families through support, education, communication and advocacy.
help us sponsor a family!
This winter Mama Says is working with the Washington County Family Center to sponsor a local family. Below is a wish list for each child in the family, we'll also be accepting monetary donations that will go towards a grocery card. To make a monetary donation please click on the PayPal button below. If you're able to make a gift purchase from one of the lists below please let us know so that we don't end up doubling up on things. Once you contact us we'll make a plan for getting the gift from you to the family as Mama Says will deliver them to the WCFC later this month. Thanks in advance for your generosity!

Monthly Parent Meet-UpS
Maybe you are wondering where a good play space is for the kids on rainy days, or have questions about what your toddler is eating. Perhaps you are new to parenthood and just need some community support or guidance from other parents. All are welcome--whether you are a new parent, new to the area, or just looking to expand your community and tap into new resources. Monthly meetings are for mamas (and papas!) to meet, share ideas, advice and information about our kids, our central Vermont community, and each other.
Normally we meet on the first Monday of every month (unless there's a Monday holiday and then it's the second Monday of the month) for coffee, tea, snacks and good conversation in the Hayes Room of the Kellogg-Hubbard Library from 10-11:30am. IN JANUARY WE WILL BE MEETING ON THE FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH FROM 10:30-NOON IN THE HAYES ROOM OF THE KELLOGG-HUBBARD LIBRARY. WE WILL HAVE LIGHT SNACKS, COFFEE, AND TEA AVAILABLE.
Although these meetings are mainly to offer parent support and community building, kids are always welcome! We'll have some kids toys there but feel free to bring more to share.
Mark your calendars!
